Travel Bursaries

TRAVEL BURSARIES FOR RESEARCH STUDENTS AND ACADEMIC APPLICANTS FROM LOW INCOME COUNTRIES

ISATT is able to offer bursaries for Research Students to support their attendance at the bi-annual conference:

• 6 bursaries of £200.00 each to students studying in countries relatively close to the conference venue (Europe).

• 6 bursaries of £350.00 each to students studying in countries at a median distance from the venue (distance to be judged by Executive case by case).

• 6 bursaries of £450.00 each to students studying in countries at a great distance from the venue (Africa, Latin America, USA, Canada, Australasia).

To be considered applicants must:

·        -Be members of ISATT;

·        -Be presenting a paper at the conference;

·        -Provide a supporting letter from their supervisor/advisor that indicates how attendance the conference will aid and support their studies.

In addition, there will be two bursaries of £350.00 each for academic applicants from low income countries who must be:

·        -members of ISATT;

·        -presenting a paper at the conference.

Please note that OECD membership is taken as an indicator of a country’s income status for the purposes of membership and for these bursaries, with non-member countries being considered low income.  This information can be found at http://www.oecd.org/pages/0,3417,en_36734052_36761800_1_1_1_1_1,00.html

Reimbursement will be made at the conference on presentation of identification and receipts for travel.
