General Information
The
deadline for abstract submission is 28th February
2011 and notification of acceptance will be sent to the
corresponding author by 4th March 2011.
The
deadline for full papers of the accepted abstracts is 30
April 2011. Send accepted full papers to
isatt2011@ie.uminho.pt
The abstracts will be blind reviewed by two
reviewers and included in the Book of Abstracts, and the
full papers will be recorded on CD. Selected full papers
will be published in the Conference publication. All
abstracts and papers must be in English.
Paper Proposals
Paper sessions are oral presentations followed by discussion. Individual papers are grouped
into sessions by the Scientific Committee based on the
topics.
Symposium Proposals (120
minutes)
A symposium is a session that provides the opportunity
to examine a specific problem or topic from a variety of
perspectives, to have intense discussions or to share
experiences on the topic.
Session organisers should solicit proposals
and submit them together, along with the name of a
symposium chairperson.
Session organisers are expected to chair the session and
to facilitate discussion.
The proposal
should include the purpose and the rationale of the
session, a description of each presentation and a
statement regarding audience involvement. Submitting
symposium proposals follows the general abstract
submission guidelines.
Lenght: 2500 words
maximum.
Poster Session
A poster session will be organized for two afternoons.
Please follow the directions for a paper proposal when
proposing a poster.
How to submit a paper?
All conference abstract proposals must be submitted
by the 28th of February 2011. An email to confirm
receipt of proposals will be sent within a 48-hour
period. Notification regarding ACCEPTANCE/DECLINE will
be sent to submitters by no later than
4th
March 2011.
Please download the

abstract submission (500 words)
and send it to
isatt2011@ie.uminho.pt. Indicate 3-4 key words and
the subtheme of the conference in which the paper is
included. All submissions must be written in
English.
Accepted papers:
Guidelines for full
papers

All accepted papers must be written in
English and not exceed 6,000
words including
appendices, references and diagrams.

The page layout is A4 size
with one column text format.

Body text with “Times New Roman” text
font, size 11 points, single-spacing and justified.
-
Spacing after paragraph should be 11
points.

References should be used in the text and listed
alphabetically by author at the end of the text. Please
use APA formatting and please be consistent throughout

Posters
-
The actual poster cannot exceed 1200mm in height and
1000mm in width

Posters are to be attached to backings and mounted on
easels, which will be supplied
GRADUATE STUDENTS
ISATT 2011 encourages and welcomes proposals from
graduate students. Please indicate in the abstract
submission if you are a graduate student. On July 4-5
the pre-conference will take place at the University of
Minho, Institute of Education, Campus de Gualtar,
4710-057 Braga, Portugal. Please send your paper
proposal to isatt2011@ie.uminho.pt indicating
your status as graduate student, your institution and
3-5 keywords.
